Stop Burning the Edges
Struggling on the greens? The Stop Burning the Edges clinic is designed to help you make more putts. We will cover basic putting stroke mechanics, including stance, posture, and alignment. We will also discuss how putters are designed and how that design could make it easier (or harder!) if it doesn't match your stroke type. Finally, controlling distance and direction will be discussed when learning how to "read" a putting green. Golf training aids that reinforce these putting fundamentals will be introduced.
Secrets of the Short Game
The majority of your shots during a round are played from inside of 40 yards. With that in mind, the Secrets of the Short Game clinic is designed to teach the core fundamentals of chipping and pitching. Topics include swing mechanics that enhance distance control as well as recommended club selection for the variety of different shots around the green. Golf training aids that reinforce chipping and pitching fundamentals will also be discussed in this golf class.
Laser Irons
It is a lot easier to shoot a good score if you hit it closer to the hole! The Laser Irons clinic is designed to introduce swing fundamentals that add consistency to your iron shots. Topics include how swing path and club face orientation work together to control shot direction, how club head designs affect ball flight, and how lie angle directly affects accuracy. Golf training aids designed to reinforce shot consistency and accuracy will also be discussed.
Creating Power
Who doesn't want to hit the ball farther? The Creating Power clinic is designed to teach basic swing concepts that can create a more powerful golf motion. This golf class will include topics such as generating power through core rotation and the importance of creating "lag" in the golf swing, with the introduction of golf-specific exercises and golf training aids designed to reinforce key swing fundamentals.
